The Inaugural London Gala in 2013 raised over £1.2 million for the Novak Djokovic Foundation to support vulnerable and disadvantaged children in Djokovic’s native Serbia. The evening drew celebrities, models, and royalty alike and featured a live auction of one of a kind experiences and collectables such as a yacht getaway with Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson, a guitar signed by Ronnie Wood, and a holiday at Richard Branson’s private island.
Famed mentalist Lior Suchard stunned the crowd with a performance and the evening also featured a mini tennis match with Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson participating. Attendees included: Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson, Naomi Campbell, Ronnie Wood, Gerard Butler, Jonathan Ross, Matt Bellamy, Boris Becker, Sir Richard Branson, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, Princess Beatrice, and Princess Eugenie.
UNICEF Summer Gala
This August, 2019, UNICEF Italia and LuisaViaRoma will host the second annual UNICEF Summer Gala to support UNICEF's mission to protect children's rights worldwide. Last year's event was a star-studded affair that raised 3.4 million Euros for UNICEF and we are excited to return for the second year.
Hosted in a beautiful private villa overlooking the Mediterranean, the night proved to be the event of the summer with performances from Rita Ora, Sofia Carson, and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Ricky Martin.
The night also featured a live auction hosted by Alexander Gilkes complete with of one-of-a-kind experiences and collectables and amazing artworks from artists such as Francis Bacon, Christopher Makos, Massimo Vitali, and Chloe Wise among others. Following the gala dinner and auction was the after party with music by DJ Ruckus and DJ Luciano.
