The Inaugural London Gala in 2013 raised over £1.2 million for the Novak Djokovic Foundation to support vulnerable and disadvantaged children in Djokovic’s native Serbia. The evening drew celebrities, models, and royalty alike and featured a live auction of one of a kind experiences and collectables such as a yacht getaway with Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson, a guitar signed by Ronnie Wood, and a holiday at Richard Branson’s private island.
Famed mentalist Lior Suchard stunned the crowd with a performance and the evening also featured a mini tennis match with Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson participating. amfAR Gala Hong Kong
amfAR Gala Hong Kong is the Foundation’s newest international event and has raised over $16 million for amfAR’s lifesaving work since its inception in 2015. Set during Art Basel Hong Kong, the event draws leading art world personalities, honoring internationally renowned artist KAWS in 2018, along with the top-tier celebrities and models that frequent amfAR’s world renowned events.
The event features a dinner, live auction of art, jewelry and one-of-a-kind experiences, and performances from artists such as pop icon Kylie Minogue, Lang Lang, Robin Thicke, Lay Zhang, Nicole Scherzinger, and K-Pop star CL.
At the 2019 event Grammy Award winning superstar, Pharrell Williams along with famed gallerist Rachel Lehmann helped amfAR honor renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist Adrian Cheng for his commitment to community development.
